Research On The Ethical Writing Of Mo Bai's Novels

Mo Bai is a contemporary writer who emerging in new period.He appeared in literary circles with the modern pioneer consciousness.At same time he always adheres to individualized narrative style.Finally he opened up his own literary territory in vanguard narration,by which depending on unique life experience and the poetic deportment.In the specific social situation,Mo Bai's novels confrant to the cruel life,examine the ethical and moral issues in history,stick to the goodness of human nature,also reveal the selfishness and fragility of human nature.Mo Bai highlights the humanistic concern and historical mission of contemporary writers by describing the individual desire,the relationship between individual and history,and the individual state of existence.At present,academic circles are scattered in the study of ethical narration in Mo Bai's novels,which to some extent neglects the ethical value of his novels.Therefore,it is meaningful to study the ethical narration in Mo Bai's novels.Through close reading Mo Bai's novels,we can find that he always upholds the profound spirit of social criticism and has deeply thought about ethical relations in social life by describing about rural life and historical stories of Yinghe Town and writing about urban intellectuals.Mo Bai's novels focuse on the themes of love,history,survival ethics and the reflection on literary value.The specific contents of this thesis are as follows:The introduction part,the first chapter mainly introduces the reason,purpose and significance of the topic selection of thesis,and then explains the research status,ideas and methods of this thesis.The main body is divided into three chapters:The second chapter,"The theme of ethical writing in Mo Bai's novels".The chapter analyses the ethical themes of Mo Bai's novels: love ethics,historical ethics,survival ethics.The thrid chapter,"The form of ethical writing in Mo Bai's novels ".The part mainly explores the ways of expression of his ethical writing from narrative perspective and time-space perspective.The fourth chapter,"The significance and deficiency of the ethical writing of Mo Bai's novels",it focuses on the analysis of the literary merits and shortcomings of ethical writing in Mo Bai's novels.The conclusion part summaeizes the whole dissertation.The part not only expresses author's thoughts about the ethical writing of Mobai's novels,but also affirms Mo Bai's creation role in contemporary Chinese literature.In a word,the thesis adopts the research method which combines ethics with narrative theory.By reading the text carefully,author analyses the theme of ethical writing in Mo Bai's novels,and demonstrates the forms of expression,and then summarizes the significance and deficiency of ethical writing in Mo Bai's novels.
