methods are the reconstruction of narrative content and the change of narrative skills, showing a diverse world view and an intuitive artistic image. Therefore,The Handmaids’ Tale presented by the development prospects of literature in the new media era.Firstly,it analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the birth of new media to literature. Its positive significance is to broaden the channels of literary communication,it promotes the multi-directional dissemination of literary texts. The negative significance lies in the pan-entertainment culture trend brought by the new media.Due to the fast and convenient way of new media, literature may become the guise of entertainment. As a result, the public should look at the new media with a critical attitude.Secondly,it talks about the future communication of literature in the new media era. Then proposes two directions with the greatest possibility: interactive media and immersive media. Finally, the conclusion is to summarize the research of the thesis. In the era of new media, literature should make breakthroughs and innovations in external structures—expressions and modes of communication. It also needs to focus on internal composition—changing and demanding groups and accepting groups. The literature works can be good at using various new media tools for literary communication to break new ground. |
