The Study Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture Through Mass Video Communication In The New Media Era Using <The Tale Of Chinese Medicine> As A Case

At present,with highly efficient and interactive information dissemination,digital networks are becoming a major carrier of cultural diffusion.New media is becoming highly involved in public life with its fragmentation and diversification features.Along with this,cultural diffusion is changing quietly.New media also brings unprecedented opportunities to cultural diffusion of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM).In 2016,the publication of <The Tale of Chinese Medicine> brought a profound understanding of TCM culture to the public,and the TCM fever was further caused by this documentary too.With the theme of TCM culture,through multi-platform and multi-media broadcasting,this documentary provides a broader vision for the film and television communication of TCM in the new media environment.This paper focused on the issues of TCM culture through film and television communication using TCM culturology and Communication Sciences,with the example of <The Tale of Chinese Medicine>.From the perspective of TCM scholars,the characteristics of both early and modern mass communication of TCM culture will be analyzed.Attached to the contents of <The Tale of Chinese Medicine>,this paper discussed the success and insufficiency of TCM culture video communication,and analyzed the cultural reflection and academic features of this documentary based on the questions and thoughts from practical exploration of the author in respect to the TCM cultural diffusion.And from the perspective of TCM scholars,the opinions and suggestions to TCM culture in mass media communication were shared.
