Research On The XINKANDAGUANGYIHUIYUPIAN Of Yi Seignior In Ming Dynasty

Based on DAGUANGYIHUIYUPIAN(《大广益会玉篇》),XINKAN DAGUANGYIHUIYUPIAN(XINKAN edition)was edited by Yiduan Seignior in the first year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty.Different from the other versions of DAGUANGYIHUIYUPIAN,it has a few changes and supplements in compiling style and content selection.Therefore,it has a high research value although few versions are extant.This paper consists mainly of 5 chapters: The first chapter is the introduction sections,describes the author and the version circulated of YUPIAN,summarizes the previous researches of YUPIAN,discusses the research significance and research methods of the XINKAN edition.The second chapter mainly introduces the author,the writing background and the versions of XINKAN edition.The third chapter analyzes the stylistic rules and layout of XINKAN edition from the phonetic transcription,the meaning explanation and variant characters,concludes the characteristics and advantages of XINKAN edition.The forth chapter is the contrast analysis of the different between DAGUANGYIHUIYUPIAN and XINKAN edition,summarizes the inheritance and development of XINKAN edition.The fifth chapter is the data presentation of new words from XINKAN edition,realizes its historical merit.In the last chapter,the thesis,makes the evaluation on the achievement and defect of XINKAN edition,and discusses its status in the history of dictionary.
