Extual Research On The Words And Phrases Of Confucius' Poetics In Shangbo Bamboo Slips

In 1994,the Shanghai Museum collected a batch of bamboo slips from the Warring States Period,compiled and sorted out by experts.From 2001 to 2012,volumes 1 to 9 of " Bamboo Slips from the Warring States Period Collected in the Shanghai Museum" published by Shanghai Ancient Books Publishing House have been published one after another.Among them,the first volume includes a brief article entitled " Confucius' Poetics",with a total of 29 slips,totaling 1,006 words.Confucius' Poetics is the only relevant exposition of Confucius on the Book of Songs in the existing literature,and its important value in literature,history and other aspects is naturally self-evident.Therefore,the definition and interpretation of some difficult words are directly related to the correct understanding of the precious document Confucius Poetics.This paper summarizes and sorts out the characters in Confucius' Poetics,and on the basis of the study of simple characters and words by various scholars,selects some difficult words for interpretation and analysis,so as to promote the further development of Chu characters research.Firstly,the text in Confucius' Poetics is divided into four parts: variant characters,tongjia characters,variant texts and the unstressed characters of the collator.The collation of variant characters and tongjia characters is divided into two parts: the " documents that have been handed down from ancient times" and the " documents that have not been handed down from ancient times".Through sorting out the common and variant characters that have not been found in the literature handed down from ancient times,this paper sums up the character-making features and the law of using characters of Chu characters,and reveals the Chu people's innovative consciousness,unique thinking and profound cognition.At the same time,it also provides more evidence materials for the research of ancient Chinese,especially the ancient pronunciation.Secondly,based on Mr.Ma Chengyuan's definition and interpretation of the simplified texts,this article mainly selects three variant characters,two phonetic characters,two variant texts and two unexplained characters from them,and analyzes a total of nine controversial words in the academic circle,in an attempt to clear up doubts,correct previous misinterpretations or provide support for previous interpretations.This paper uses the relevant characters in Guodian,Shangbo and Qinghua bamboo slips as synchronic comparative materials,and uses other languages(Yan,Jin,Qi,Qin,etc.)besides Chu characters as auxiliary comparative materials.At the same time,through combing the origin and development of the characters from oracle bone inscriptions,inscriptions on bronze to official script,the paper clarifies its form,significance and evolution process of use.For the different viewpoints put forward by predecessors on Mr.Ma Chengyuan's brief text definition and interpretation,either from its goodness or from another new interpretation,the analysis is carried out in close connection with the example of the word,so as to achieve the two purposes of dredging the meaning of the text and analyzing the meaning and usage of the text.
