| As an important city of higher education in China,wuhan has a profound historical and cultural origin.The academy culture,which continues for thousands of years,is the undercurrent of the continuous development of its culture and education.From the original official edits,collect books of cultural institutions to the private education institutions,as a kind of teaching between official and private institutions,the academy has the seeds of song dynasty and yuan dynasty,Ming dynasty,the popularity of the qing dynasty,the late qing dynasty,zhang zhi-dong’s pushing wuhan academy development in the region to the peak,and then suddenly,due to changes of the era of die,but the wind flow by,-odd arteries.Academy,as an important educational institution in ancient China,has a long history,a wide geographical distribution and a high popularity.The academy not only provided intellectual support for the development of wuhan city,but also promoted the transfer of hubei cultural center from jingzhou and xiangyang to wuhan.As an important commercial town,the academies in wuhan absorbed the merchant class,and the merchants were actively engaged in the construction of the academies,which in turn fed the merchant class,making it recognized by the mainstream Confucian culture and promoting it to become part of the local elites.The academy was initially built in the mountains and forests,then in the suburbs of the city and then in the center of the city.The scale of the academy has been constantly expanding.On the other hand,the huge academy group also promotes the development and improvement of the city,and finally integrates into the context and market of the city.This paper aims to explore the relationship between academies and local social interaction and local cultural development by studying the development process of academies in wuhan region under the general background of the development of academies in successive dynasties,and to study their cultural value,so as to contribute to the development of urban culture in wuhan. |
