On Cultural Activities Of Wang Shizhen In Yunyang

From September A.D.1574 to June A.D.1576,Wang Shizhen governed Yuyang and left in autumn A.D.1576.In this period of less than two years,Wang Shizhen conducted a series of cultural activities in Yunyang.The purpose of this paper is to research cultural activities to show the cultural life of Wang Shizhen in Yuyang.This paper concentrates on four aspects below: 1,study on poetry and articles,analyzing creation time.In total,420 poetry and articles are found which can lay strong foundation for researches behind;2,research on whom Wang Shizhen communicated with in Yunyang,a total of 96 people are found and were divided into 9 categories;3,research on his contributions to the construction of culture in Yunyang through writing,publishing,purchasing and collecting books;4,analysis of Wang Shizhen's mental state showed in his works,mainly concentrating on "seclusion".These above four aspects display the cultural activities of Wang Shizhen in Yunyang from himself to others,then to the environment,which presents the cultural life of Wang Shizhen in the age of fifty from inside to out.Before,there are relevant papers researching these topics,but they are not enough and detailed.Their points of view are different from mine,so this paper can make up for the shortcomings of previous studies,and can put forward new insights.
