Song Jiaoren is an important figure in modern Chinese history. His Japanese outlook is deeply influenced by the environment at home and abroad. At the same time, his Japanese outlook has also profoundly influenced the historical process of modern China and the evolution of Sino-Japanese relations.First of all,Song Jiaoren’s view of Japan is closely related to personal personality characteristics and educational background.Song Jiaoren’s determined character, strong patriotism, and rich Huxiang cultural factors make his Japanese outlook have strong practical concern. His understanding of Japan has always been the main line of saving the country and saving the country, and he has a strong sense of mission and responsibility for the country;Secondly, the sudden increase of intellectuals who stayed in Japan in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China,a large number of literati who were far away from the East, the interaction between the groups of intellectuals who stayed in Japan, and the disputes between various schools of thought also had an important influence on Song Jiaoren’s understanding of Japan;Third,Song Jiaoren’s Japanese view is deeply influenced by the Chinese revolutionary process and shows the situation of serving the revolution. In the 20 th century, the relations between Japan and the Middle School and international relations were complicated.China and Japan had both conflicts and confrontation, and exchanges and cooperation. The international status of the two countries also shifted. The imperialist powers invaded China and became increasingly prosperous. All these deeply influenced Song Jiaoren’s Japanese view;Fourth,Song Jiaoren’s deep understanding of Japan has also become an important guide for its revolutionary practice.Whether it is engaged in the revolution to overthrow the Qing Dynasty or to build the Republic of China,it has a deep influence.Song Jiaoren’s Japanese outlook has undergone great changes before and after his short life.He has mainly experienced three different historical periods. Each period of Japanese outlook has different specific connotations and characteristics, both before and after inheritance and with the times. Before staying in Japan,Song Jiaoren learned about the outside world through home studies, teachers, newspapers and magazines. The introduction of a large number of intellectuals in Japan to Japan prompted Song Jiaoren to form a preliminary understanding of Japan.During his stay in Japan,Song Jiaoren deeply realized Japan’s vicissitudes and changes through personal experience, and he had a deep understanding of Japan’s internal affairs, diplomacy, economy, and other aspects as well as Japan’s invasion of China’s actions and ambitions. At this time,Song Jiaoren saw Japan more as a transit point for China to learn the West.It has both a tendency to "use Japan as a teacher" and a sense of vigilance towards Japan. In the revolutionary practice after returning home,Song Jiaoren realized more clearly that Japan invaded China and constantly exposed Japan’s invasion of China’s actions and ambitions. At the same time,he also had illusions about Japan and hoped that Japan could support the Chinese revolution. His Japanese outlook was full of contradictions.mentality.It can be found that Song Jiaoren’s views on Japan have been deepened and developed along with his contacts with Japan.Song Jiaoren observed in depth during the Japanese period and had a deeper understanding of Japanese politics, economy, culture, and diplomacy.Politically,Song Jiaoren believes that Japan is a modern politics born in feudal autocratic soil. However, due to the strong feudal remnants, the Japanese political system contains a strong feudal mythology, and political parties are also a complex of various power groups;Economically,Song Jiaoren has a positive attitude of praise for Japan’s economic achievements. At the same time,he also recognizes the bureaucratic nature of the Japanese economic system and the huge influence of the economy on politics and gradually moves toward the path of combining chaebol and valve.Culturally,Song Jiaoren recognized the intercommunion and integration of Chinese and Japanese cultures and was impressed by Japan’s developed education system. However, the Japanese government’s cultural autocracy against the people is still strong, and the spirit of Bushido is instilled in the people. This has also become the ideological basis for Japan’s repeated foreign wars;In diplomacy,Song Jiaoren deeply analyzed Japan’s foreign policy and pointed out that Japan has always aimed at outward expansion.China should always be vigilant against Japan’s invasion of China, and believes that China’s foreign policy should be based on maintaining balance of power and preventing the expansion of powers to invade China. What Song Jiaoren saw and thought in Japan became the ideological source that guided Song Jiaoren’s revolution and construction.Under this guidance, its strategy towards Japan has also constantly changed, but what runs through is the perseverance of firmly safeguarding the interests of the Chinese nation, the determination to seek national independence and prosperity, and the confidence to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. This is not only the soul of Song Jiaoren’s Japanese outlook. It is also a treasure that we should inherit and carry forward forever.Understanding Song Jiaoren’s view of Japan has a positive effect on the correct understanding of Japan and the Japanese people and promoting the healthy and sustainable development of Sino-Japanese relations.
