| The frequency of terrorist attacks in recent years,which has left the world in a state of panic,most vividly in the early 21 st century,when the terrorist attacks in the United States took place on September 11,a terrorist attack that plunged the entire nation into a state of panic and patriotism over the horrors that have occurred.Both civil and official hate clamors for revenge,and writers and commentators have been involved in the dialogue with the terrorist attacks.Writers of the terrorist attacks,defined as the September 11 attacks,use their own creation to express their views and reflections,the author Don DeLillo ’s work "falling man" into the audience,he no longer focuses on the macro aspect of the global portrayal of the twin towers of terror,but the "September 11" attacks on the situation of a common American family.It is not the disaster itself that is concerned,it is not the cause of the disaster to be judged,but the impact of the disaster to the world.Focus on the small,showing the impact of major historical events on the spiritual lives of the average American,giving the reader another voice of history,highlighting the overall sense of social unrest and the fear,emptiness and despair of the subject of the trauma,and describing how traumatized people struggle out of the trauma.The article consists of three parts: introduction,subject and conclusion.The introduction mainly makes a brief overview of the novel author DeLillo and his works,and combs through the current research status of his works at home and abroad.The main body is divided into four chapters.The first chapter analyzes how historical events as 9 11 are written and reproduced in literary works.After such a catastrophic event,how terrorism is written and witnesses emerge from their wounds.The second chapter analyzes the trauma in the work,spreads around the survivors,discusses not only the psychological shadow of the event to the adults,but also the disastrous impact on the unborn,reflecting on the negative consequences of trauma.The third chapter analyzes the expression of the traumatic narrative in the works,and makes an interpretation of the uncertainty,truth and fiction,confusion and repetition of the characters in the works.The fourth chapter discusses the care we should give to these traumatized subjects,the help we can give to our lives,and the hope they have for their lives.The conclusion points out that despite the catastrophic trauma of 9 11,which leads to panic and mental decadence,the hope for life and the awe for life are the driving force behind the trauma. |
