| Guangzhou,the southern gate of China and the forefront of reform and opening-up,is the core city of Pearl River Delta and Capital of Guangdong Province.With the recently undergoing social transformation in which society transforms from agricultural civilization to industrial civilization,and from industrial society to post-industrial society,as well as the“new normal”of economy,Guangzhou's traditional industries are in imperative need of transformation and upgrading.Accompanied with the practice of border-crossing integration,such newly-emerging concepts as“internet~+”and“culture~+”,“internet~+”and“culture~+”have become the new forms of economic and social development,as well as the new economic growth points.They have provided new concepts and new direction for transformation and upgrading of Guangzhou's traditional industries as well.However,as a unique phenomenon in large cities in Mainland China,the increasing problems of urban villages are also impeding the quality-upgrade and acceleration of the urbanization.The issue of industrial transformation in urban village renovation has become one of the crucial problems in strengthening city competitiveness and realizing urban transition of Guangzhou.This project makes use of theories on transformation and upgrading of industrial structure,industrial structure evolution,civilization transformation,cultural pattern transformation as well as human modernization,and adopts such research methods as case study,qualitative research,quantitative research as well as data analysis.Taking Eva Commercial Plaza in Sanyuanli,Baiyun District,Guangzhou as the case,we thoroughly analyze and discuss its industrial transformation and upgrading under the background of“internet~+”and“culture~+”,and provide some constructive suggestions for promoting transformation and upgrading of business model of Eva Commercial Plaza,fostering new economic growth points and cultivating new irreplaceability in Sanyuanli.Meanwhile,the underlying requirement of in-depth evolution of modernization and transformation to post-modern civilization lies in the transformation of human beings.Therefore,this project also places emphasis on the transformation of industrial capability and cultural quality of human beings in the process of industrial transformation and upgrading,and contending that human modernization is the powerful impetus and key factor of success in industrial transformation and upgrading. |
