Inspiration To Lotus In The Rain From Feminism Of The Decalogue · 4

In 1989,TV play the Decalogue directed by the famous director Krzysztof Kieslowski won the 46^th FIPRESCI Prizes and the widely praised from the world film industry.The play is constituted by 10 different episodes.The Decalogue·4 which is the4^th one talked a love story about Anka and her foster father.The researches on the text so far mostly focus on the theme"moral anxiety"of Krzysztof Kieslowski,but less on the Decalogue·4.Therefore,based on the feminist philosopher Judith Butler’s theory of Performativity,I analysis the Decalogue·4.Judith Butler theoretically analyzes the hypocrisy and contradiction of the subject’s construction of the law of Father,and points out that the Performance is the motivation for its continuation up to now.Meanwhile,it’s possible for women to rebuild their discourse system with raising Performativity reverse.The Decalogue·4 is the visual deduction of this classic theory.Based on it,I analysis the construction and deconstruction of the law of Father in the Decalogue·4,and revealing its implication of feminism in depth.Inspired by it,I shot a short film Lotus in the Rain which is full of feminism with my classmates by learning the classic theory of Butler and the classic text.Furthermore,it responds to the moral anxiety in the Decalogue·4 with the returning of the moral in Lotus in the Rain.It aims to point out how people can achieve the reconstruction of moral.This paper is constituted by four parts.In the 1^stt part,it sketches the research background,the meaning of research and the theoretical sources of feminism in this paper.In the 2ⁿdd part,to do the deeply discussion on the construction of the law of Father and explore its essence in the Decalogue·4 in Judith Butler’s feminism perspective.In the 3^rd part,based on Judith Butler’s theory of the Performativity,I analyze the the law of Father that suffered the double deconstruction from the subject and the object in the Decalogue·4.In the 4^th part,it’s about the inspiration to the production by discussing the theme of feminism in Lotus in the Rain.I set the character Yulian who is sincere,independent and self-respect,to make Lotus in the Rain be a depth feminism short film.
