Translator Subjectivity From The Perspective Of Feminist Translation Theory

The combination of feminism and translation studies originated from their common goal.The feminist translation theory has brought a new theoretical perspective for translation studies,and has upended the traditional view of translation,so that the gender issue has penetrated into translation studies,and the subjective of the translator has been highlighted.This essay embarks from the feminist translation theory to analyze the translation of Girls & Sex: Navigating the Complicated New Landscape.The translator takes examples from the translation to illustrate her subjective role,adopting translation strategies such as supplementing,prefacing & footnoting,and hijacking in her translation.
