Through a contrastive study of English and Chinese, people find that there are a large number of corresponding words in these two languages, which has laid a necessary foundation for the realization of English to Chinese interpretation. However, due to the differences of the way of thinking the use of English and Chinese language in the expression of the same meaning is rather different, which adds to the difficulty of communication. This requires the use of the necessary interpretation skills in English and Chinese interpretation activities in order to deliver the meaning to the audience. In English-Chinese translation, the interpreter is allowed to carry out some sentential analysis and restructure the source language in a certain period of time.During the English to Chinese interpreting, the usage of certain translation strategies to deal with the difference between the two languages will make the process easier.Meanwhile,it makes the translation more authentic, and lets the audience more easily and rapidly grasps the information. The author takes the interview as an example, finishing the interpretation and summarizing the experience.Meanwhile, the author analyzes the main difficulties of the interpreting process and the solutions, and focuses on the study of English and Chinese sentences. Therefore, this paper analyzes how to restructure the sentences in the show, transferring the English long sentences to Chinese simple verb sentences and English composite sentences to Chinese run-on sentences. The author hopes to illustrate the application of such techniques for the positive effect of high quality interpretation and provide some guidance for future interpretation.
