Applied Research To Microscopic Material In Art Creation

The microcosm,which is opposite to the macroscopic world,is a world that is invisible to the naked eye.In the microcosm,the shape of substances could be various.With the development of technology and the maturity of microscopic,human vision has extended to the microscopic world.The increasingly mature microscopic technology has greatly expanded the horizon of human beings.The natural world is presented to us in a brand new form.The number of creatures in the microcosm,the richness of shapes,and the vividness of colours makes the width of human's understanding to the world greatly extended.The substance in the microscopic world also have patterns scales such as lines,structures,colours,etc.,which undoubtedly inspired many artists to enrich their art,thus opening up a new world of artistic creation.By applying microscopic material forms to artistic creation not only expands the source of artistic creation,but also blends microscale science and microscale art,and provides more inspiration for artists to create.Therefore,this article takes the application of microscopic material form in artistic creation as the research topic.The first part sorts out the literature of related fields and affirms the significance for artistic creation.The second chapter of this paper describes the attributes of microscopic materials.From an artistic point of view,microscopic materials are divided into non-living and living bodies.The characteristics of microscopic materials are analyzed,such as the beauty of structure,the beauty of colour,the beauty of texture and the beauty of imagery.Also the definition of microscale art has been differentiated and explained.The third chapter focuses on the application of microscopic material form in artistic creation.Because of the wide range of artistic creation,this article selects architectural design,graphic design,product design and painting as a starting point.It also explains how the physical form of the microscopic world is presented and applied in these works of art and summarizes how cells,crystals,and microorganisms are commonly used in microscopic artistic creation.At the end of this paper,the author combines his own experience to explain how to apply this kind of creation,also the article introduces author's attempts and works to explain the process from theory to practice.In general,a growing number of artists have pay attention to microscale world.They have used microscopic materials as a new method for creation,and thus created many artistic and innovative works.In the development of art history in the future,scientific microscale art will become an important art category which could enhance the art civilization.
