A Study On The Er Ya Ancient Doctrine

The most ancient note of the Er Ya that has been preserved today,is in the book of Guo Pu.The ancient note has been lost,and Guo's Note is relatively ancient.The materials collected by later generations cannot restore the original appearance of Er Ya.Qian Dian's The Ancient Note Of Er Ya uses Shuo Wen to prove the Er Ya,including explanating the ancient meaning of the word,and those notes which Guo Pu explaned wrong or has not explaned in the past.He also corrected the later popular explanation.We systematically and comprehensively study Qian Qian's The Ancient Note Of Er Ya from the perspective of chinese philology and emendation textual criticism,so that to illustrate the content,achievements and deficiencies of the book.My paper majors in discussing the following three aspects:The first aspect is Qian Dian and The Ancient Note Of Er Ya,introduce the author's life and his academic achievement,explains the reasons for compiling the book and the research status of it.The second aspect is the emendation textual criticism of The Ancient Note Of Er Ya,discusse the reasons and methods for emendating and the content,deficiencies of it.The third aspect is the supplement and description of The Ancient Note Of Er Ya,introduce the thoughts,terminology and contents of it,explain the meaning and glyph of the words,and supplement the deficiencies of the book.
