The Phonetics Research Of The Local Dialect In The Birthplace Of Nvshu,Shangjiangxu Town,Jiangyong County,Hunan Province

Through the comprehensive and meticulous description of the phonetics of modern Shangjiangxu the headstream of Nvshu dialect with field investigation,the Shengmu(??),Yunmu(??)and Shengdiao(??)systems of Shangjiangxu dialect are sorted out,and a detailed table of homophones in tabular form and phonological elements matching table are listed and the characteristics of phonology and intonation of Shangjiangxu dialect are analyzed.There are 5 Shengdiao(??),21 Shengmu(??)and 32 Yunmu(??)in Shangjiangxu dialect.By using the diachronic comparative method,comparing the phonetic sounds of Shangjiangxu dialect with those of the ancient Chinese dialect,it concluded that Shangjiangxu dialect is Voiced falling tone Characters Send to first tone and has a tone of entering tone;when the ancient Voiced initials pronounces plosive and affricate,no matter level and oblique tones,they read as unaspirated voiceless;the ancient full voiced initials merges with the voiceless initials;the Shengmu groups of ni(?)and lai(?)are pronounced differently for the Hongyin(??)and Xiyin(??);it only has a set of initials tongue,which is ts tsh and s;Duan initials(??)are mostly pronounced as 1 Shengmu(??);differentiate Jian Yin(??)and Tuan Yin(??);the main vowels of ancient Guo-She(??)Jia-She(??)characters are u,a and e,the main vowels of ancient Xiao-She(??)is au,ai and iau;the.the main vowels of ancient Liu-She(??)is au and iau;Shusheng(??)character of Dang-She(??)and Jiang-She(??)has basically been combined and read as Posterior Nasal End.There are no conclusions about final stops.At the same time,the synchronic comparative method is used to compare Shangjiangxu dialect with Beijing dialect.The main conclusions drawn from the comparison with Beijing dialect are as follows:Shangjiangxu dialect has one more entering tone than Beijing dialect;Shangjiangxu dialect has more v?(?)?(?)Shengmu(??)and less ts?tsh?s?Shengmu(??)than Beijing dialect;Shangjiangxu dialect has more(?)?(?)?io?ya?yei?(?)Yunmu(??)while less pupils vowels(?)?(?)???(?)etc vowel than Beijing dialect.Based on the results of diachronic and synchronic comparisons and the phonetic characteristics of Shangjiangxu dialect,the paper describes the phonetic system and evolution of Shangjiangxu dialect.On the whole,it shows the basic features of Shangjiangxu dialect.
