Emotional design is a human-centered design trend,there have been some mature theories such as Japan's kansei engineering and the classic three levels theory developed by Donald Arthur Norman.These theories are applied in the field of industrial design for a long time,But other areas also requires emotional factors as a reference for design.Gift floral as a carrier of peoples' feeling can't have a clear definition and design program all along,author of this article is well experienced in the design,production and sales of gift floral products,the article give a clear definition of contemporary gift flora separated from the traditional flower arrangement,take Norman's theory as a guide,analyzed the existing products on the market and the target consumer groups,summarizes the important points of the design are customization and personalization.Subsequent the article uses Satisfaction Toolkit and the A.C.T.model validation these points and use it to try out some new designs.The new design has two forms as improved and innovative.Improved design is based on the theme of a festival.Take emotional design points summarized to enhance existing products.The innovative design is based on the concepts of mild and heavy customized proposed by the article.Innovations of the design is modular the products and take specific personal memories and symbols as a important element of the design,ss well as design of a complete visual identity system and APP for sale use.
