Intermediate Chinese listening and speaking classes focus on improving students' listening and speaking ability,often ignoring cultural teaching,and the classroom teaching mode is single,the form of practice lacks novelty,and over time slightly boring.Domestic documentary language norms,Putonghua pronunciation standards,clear topics,a wide range of types,rich cultural connotations,domestic documentary assisted teaching can not only fill the shortcomings of cultural teaching,but also re-ignite students' interest in learning.This text regards Intermediate Chinese Listening and Speaking Course as the support of domestic documentary auxiliary application design.All teaching design serves the teaching material.Before teaching,a questionnaire survey was conducted on the interest,learning purpose and acceptance of domestic documentaries.Based on the survey results,the selection criteria and application criteria of domestic documentaries were formulated.First,the suitable documentary subjects were selected for teaching,and then matched with the content of the teaching materials to further determine the theme.Then,according to the language and content of the documentaries,the subject was confirmed.Set the final choice.After choosing suitable domestic documentaries,according to the form of teaching links,teaching designs are carried out in the following links: introducing new lessons,explaining texts,speaking exercises,listening exercises and cultural development.The interception time,main contents and specific operation or teaching methods of each documentary are listed in detail.After the teaching practice,the teaching effect and students' satisfaction were investigated and analyzed.Based on the survey results and teachers' reflection on teaching,the challenges and difficulties faced by domestic documentaries in the teaching of intermediate Chinese listening and speaking were summarized,and some suggestions were put forward.
