The thesis takes Bruckner's seventh, eighth and ninth symphonies as the research object. On the basis of comprehensive harmony analysis and structure division, the paper discusses the pitch organization and the harmony thinking behind his last three symphonic works.Bruckner's most characteristic pitch organization is carried out from the Balanced Voice-leading of two commonly used harmonic vocabularies of himself to the dualistic generative system centered on two chords of the augmented triad and the diminished seventh chord. The confluence and progressive relationship between these two ways of harmonic organization is the result of Bruckner's exploration of his music language, character and thought. The paper also argues that Bruckner only changed the meaning of chord interpretation, but did not form a real new sound in the ninth symphony.
