Research On Han Opera Education Of Hubei Academy Of Opera During 1950?1960

Han Opera education is a professional education with performing skills and related cultural knowledge.It's not only an important means of personnel training,but also a sustainable method of Han Opera cultural transmission.In the early 1950 s and 1960 s,Chinese Opera steps into an important historical reforming period,that is,new plays,new roles,new system,when all the related modern Opera education system construction is still being explored.Han Opera is exactly following the historical trends.Two Han Opera Academy,which aims at personnel training,were established in Hubei Province.They refreshed the traditional education thoughts and organization management mode,rebuilt the training ways and the “master-apprentice relationship”,which means,from the workshop system to public school system and from the master-apprentice relationship to teacher-student relationship.At the same time,significant changes in contents and teaching methods have been made.The education reform in this period is not only the transition period of Han Opera personnel training from traditional to modern,but also producing a main force for Han Opera's transition.This paper,taking the Han Opera education in Hubei Academy of Opera in 1950 s and 1960 s as example,makes a detailed description and analysis of the procedure of the subject foundation,teaching force building,students selecting,curriculum system construction and teaching contents and achievements,and discusses the important meaning of Opera education in special period for personnel training of Opera.
