In recent years,with the continuous progress of China's comprehensive national strength and the rapid improvement of cultural soft power,domestic children's literature has gradually entered a better situation,but it is still in a marginal position in the literature system.Correspondingly,the translation of children's literature in China also lacks the attention of scholars.The author hopes to make a certain contribution to the progress of children's literature translation in China.Children of the Wild is written by Canadian author—— Charles G.D.Roberts.The author selected chapters 6,9 and 12 for translation according to the requirements of my supervisor.This translation practice report mainly covers five parts.The first part is the translation task introduction,which mainly introduces the text,material,the author as well as the translation task goal and the practical significance.The second part is the introduction of translation process,which mainly includes pre-translation preparation and in-translation processing and post-translation review.The third part is translation theory,which mainly introduces the functionalist Skopos Theory used in the translation process.The fourth part is the translation cases,and analyzes the typical cases in the translation process under the guidance of Skopos Theory.The last part is the summary of translation practice.The author mainly reflects on the whole translation process,summarizes the experience and lessons,and clarifies the direction of future translation,making contribution to the cause of Chinese children's literature.
