With the rapid development of science and technology,the large-scale application of digital and new media technology,and the popularization of the Internet,these new technologies have innovated the existence mode of traditional decorative art.Traditional decorative arts have been booming at the same time,the current need for innovation and change.With the development of science and technology,everything is always in progress,and traditional decorative art is also supposed to be so,especially the public art with great display effects.When traditional art keeps pace with the changing trend of The Times,it also represents the constant updating and development of our aesthetic level.New media is the product of the development of contemporary information technology,which perfectly USES emerging technological products such as computer to express an art form.From the end of last century to now,in the west,art works appear in public space art exhibitions relying on new media technologies,gradually replacing traditional performing arts and installation art.This shows that we have been in the new media era.Based on in-depth investigation,this paper analyzes and compares the decorative art language under traditional media and new media in detail,summarizes the similarities and differences between them,and provides theoretical basis and cultural guarantee.Because of the continuous application of new media technology in art deco,the connotation of art deco is richer,including not only the basic theories of design and art,but also the application of computer,information technology and digital media.In the traditional decorative art of public space,sculptures and murals are often used as decorative means.Therefore,it is necessary to explore the combination of new media technology and decorative art.This paper attempts to use interdisciplinary research methods to study the internal relationship between new media and decorative language in order to achieve the purpose of innovative application.
