| The painting theory of "Guyi" has been summarized and discussed in every period of Chinese painting history.On the basis of looking back on the tradition,today’s painters continue to inherit and develop this idea after analyzing and studying the differences in the form,content and thought of painting.Influenced by the concept of "ancient meaning",many landscape painters have a difficult situation to abandon the traditional landscape painting.They advocate the spirit of Chinese traditional culture,especially the emotions of Chinese literati returning to the mountains and forests.Some painters use traditional brush and ink to sketch mountains and rivers.The pictures do not involve modern characters and time symbols.They are persistent in the expression of literati interest with traditional ancient meanings.There are also some painters who have absorbed abundant nutrition and changed some personal understandings on the basis of long-term and in-depth study of tradition,thus forming a new personal painting style and aesthetic trend.Some people say that the traditional ancient landscape is out of date in the new era.Should we boldly abandon the old schema and ink language before,and express the landscape of the new era by completely divorcing from the traditional Chinese paintinglanguage or copying the western painting language? Is that true?During the three-year study period of graduate students,under the guidance of Professor,the author studied and practiced the painting theory of "Guyi",and gained a deeper and comprehensive understanding and personal feeling of landscape painting learning.Masters’ artistic ideas,painting skills and aesthetic trends have had a certain impact on my landscape painting creation and learning.This paper is divided into four parts.The first part tries to study and interpret the concept of "Guyi" through sorting out the development of "Guyi" theory in ancient times and from 1950 s to early21 st century,combining with specific cases.The second part analyses the Enlightenment of the theory of "ancient meaning" to the study and creation of landscape painting in the context of the new era.The third part,combined with my own study and practice,explores the impact of "Guyi" landscape painting creation theory on my painting creation learning process.Finally,the conclusion part summarizes the viewpoints of this topic and draws a conclusion... |
