The Application Of Material In My Comprehensive Painting Creation

Art is advancing with the progress of social economy and culture.The texture,as an important medium of artistic expression,has also been going through rapid reformation in application,changing and refreshing people’s performance and views on art.The research practice and selection of textures of artists reflect that textures are not only the medium of expression,but also a necessary artistic language.The unique artistic expression of painting with textures greatly inspires the practices of artists,and also provides them with a space for texture expression and artistic imagination.The nature of the textures and their interactions simultaneously influence and inspire the artists.Starting from sorting out the path of textures in texture painting development,this paper made further exploration on the texture application in my comprehensive paintings through my practices in applying various textures such as stone powder,VAE glue,gelatin,cloth,rice paper,hemp rope,acrylic,watercolor,Chinese paint,aqueous mineral pigment,ink,methyl cellulose,etc.to comprehensive creations.
