Application Of Post-Impressionist Art Language In Oil Painting Creation

At the beginning of the twentieth century,modern industrial civilization changed the traditional way of life and accelerated the pace of life.At the same time,it also changed the relationship between people.Schopenhauer's ontological thought of solipsism led to cognitive intuitionism,which made the artist's talent and imagination become the foundation of artistic creation.Then Nietzsche and Freud made a comprehensive analysis and reveal of the spiritual field of human beings,which became the source of modern art creation.From then on,art is no longer a reflection of the objective world,but a manifestation of the subjective world.After the British literary critic Clive Bell put forward the theory of "meaningful form" at the end of the 19th century,Cezanne,known as the "father of modern painting",paid more attention to the form of art and advocated the expression of the painter's feelings and concepts through pure geometry and subjective colors.Cezanne's artistic practice and theory are the practitioners of modern formalist aesthetician Clive Bell's "meaningful form" theory.Since then,a new expression of painting,post-impressionism,has been created in the history of oil painting.Their oil paintings have changed from objective to subjective and from three-dimensional to two-dimensional.This new form of painting has injected new blood into oil paintings in the early 20th century and brought new attempts.In this paper,the application of post-Impressionist art language in graduation creation has been explored and studied systematically and deeply.The full text is divided into four chapters.Chapter one elaborates the application of Cezanne's artistic language in oil painting creation,from Cezanne's geometric language and the interpretation of the importance of color visual authenticity in oil painting creation.The second chapter elaborates the application of Van Gogh's artistic language in oil painting creation,and analyses and practices Van Gogh's passionate lines,exaggerated shapes and infectious colors.Chapter three elaborates the application of Gao Gang's artistic language in oil painting creation.Starting from Gao Gang's artistic style with more original plane meaning,it simplifies the objects and uses the single-line flat painting method and the original color block to study.Chapter Four elaborates the innovation and evolution of post-Impressionist artistic language in oil painting creation,starting from childhood memory,future direction and self-expression,explaining and explaining from theory and practice.In short,because of my love for post-impressionism,from the post-Impressionist art language as an introduction and focus,combined with the application of post-Impressionist art language in my creation as a clue,combined with my own practice,a profound analysis has certain theoretical basis and practical value.
