"State Of Emergency" And Crisis Re-Crisis Of Criticism

This paper analyzes Benjamin's criticism theory and criticism methods from the perspective of literary criticism,especially focusing on Benjamin's unique allegorical criticism,that is,breaking the continuity illusion inside the works and re-establishing a new set of symbolic value system outside the work used to activate the meaning of the text.Benjamin's literary criticism is an important part of constructing his aesthetic thought.A large part of Benjamin's thought is reflected in literary criticism.Unlike many theorists who use the work as a footnote to interpret their own ideas,Benjamin used the various methods of criticism to fully exploit the potential of the works themselves.Through the interpretation of the early romantic criticism concept and Goethe's art theory,Benjamin's immanent criticism and redemption criticism emerged as a prelude to allegorical criticism.In the interpretation of Baroque's tragic drama,Benjamin raised the allegory to an unprecedented height,and believed that the allegory of arriving at the“Beauty of beyond,presented a state of ruin,death and decline,thus establishing the context of the formation of allegorical criticism.Consistent with Benjamin's aesthetic thought,Benjamin's allegorical criticism developed along the aesthetic and political dimensions.The former,through Benjamin's commented on Leskov's works,proposed the lack of experience and the production of pseudo-experience,thus forming Benjamin,s unique experience aesthetics;Because Benjamin was influenced by Brecht,the latter formed a leftist tendency to revolutionary enthusiasm and the destruction of aesthetics.Together,they both constituted the aesthetic implication of Benjamin's allegorical criticism.In addition,Benjamin's assertion about "state of emergency" re-awakened a sense of crisis by historically resolving the problem,thus constructing the "presentity" of the allegorical criticism.As far as criticism practices were concerned,Benjamin's allegorical criticism is fully reflected in his criticism of writers such as Baudelaire and Kafka,as well as criticism of the arcades of Paris.These criticisms reflected the unique charm of Benjamin's allegorical criticism.Rereading Benjamin,especially the return to his allegorical criticism,not only helps the academic community to re-understand Benjamin as a critic,but also provides valuable reference and reference for the current cultural and artistic criticism.
