The End Auxiliary Words Of Tibetan Written Language

This thesis provides an analysis of Tibetan language structure.The analysis includes sentence,vocabulary and preposition,as well as the reason for how and when end auxiliary words are used.Special attention is given to how Tibetan and other minority scholars classify end auxiliary words.In addition to summarizing their ideas,I propose my own viewpoint.In particular,I describe,in detail,the change and the development of end auxiliary words.Five chapters constitute my thesis.The first chapter describes the concept of Tibetan sentence structure,it's features,how vocabulary is arranged in sentences,what the differences between the features are,and what the usage and function of grammatical cases and common conjunctions are.The second chapter proves from two aspects why Tibetan language produces the end auxiliary words and why auxiliary words become the center in Tibetan language.The third chapter analyses how Chinese and Tibetan scholars have classified end auxiliary words in Tibetan sentences.Here I also propose my own viewpoint.From the fourth to the sixth chapter,I have classified four periods for the development of end auxiliary words in Tibetan sentences.These periods are:From the Tibetan King period to Scattered periods;from Sakya Government to Ganden Palace;from the founding of new China to now.During the Tibetan King period,completed words took the place of end auxiliary words in a sentence,and only a few end auxiliary words were present.From Scattered period to after the founding of new China,the number of end auxiliary words grew and less completed words were being used.Nowadays,the number of end auxiliary words is still increasing and there are some differences between each period.
