A Study On The Sinicization Of Roland Barthes' Text Theory

Roland Barthes(1915-1980)is one of the most significant representatives of French structuralism and post-structuralism in the 1950 s and 1970 s.He engages in semiotics,narrative,photographic clothing and other fields,among which his text theory has an important impact on the French contemporary literary circle and the international academic circle.In the late 1960 s,Bart enters the "text" stage of his own research.The concept of text is a theoretical term that Bart expatiates on in this stage,and its connotation mainly includes "work" to "text",intertextuality,pleasure of text and reading codes.Roland Barthes' text theory tends to be anti-authority and anti-tradition,overturn the centrality of the author and his works,and create a text view that pursues difference,interrelation and game.Since the 1980 s,Bart's text theory has traveled far and wide,experiencing four stages of "theoretical travel" : theory origin,horizontal crossing,acceptance attitude and theory of mutation,and finally being transplanted into the Chinese cultural soil.After more than 30 years of translation and dissemination in China,Roland Barthes' text theory has exerted a subtle influence on the creation views and critical thinking mode of Chinese literature.The chapter part of the thesis is the introduction,which mainly introduces the reason of the topic,the research status,research methods and research significance.The second chapter introduces the development and spread of Bart's text theory in the western context,and elaborates the connotation of Bart's text theory,namely the transformation from "work" to "text",intertextuality,pleasure of text and reading codes.The third chapter mainly discusses the background and overseas spreading process of Bart's text theory.When his text theory was introduced into China,an upsurge of "methodology" arose in Chinese society,at the same time all kinds of western theories came into China during this period resulting in the complex symbiotic situation.Therefore,the introduction of Bart theory to China will inevitably be some variation phenomenon.The dissemination and acceptance of his textual theory in China can be roughly divided into the acceptance period,the digestion period and the innovation period.The fourth chapter explores Bart text "variation" phenomenon in the changing course of the theory of performance and the reasons.The generalization performance types are misreading and variation phenomenon,which is mainly embodied in the "text" of ambiguity,ambiguous,and generalization is mainly manifested in the use of the concept of "intertextuality" and Chinese contemporary literary criticism and practice.The thesis concludes the following reasons for this phenomena: the inevitable result of theoretical travel,the guiding role of the translation agent,and the influence of Chinese thinking and writing traditions.The fifth part expounds the practical significance and theoretical values of Bart's text theory.The practical significance is mainly reflected in the influence on contemporary literary creation,literary criticism and literary reading mode,and the theoretical values are mainly reflected in the activation of ancient Chinese literary theory resources and the diversified thinking construction of contemporary Chinese literature.The research on the sinicization of Bart's text theory aims to explore the possibility of dialogue between Chinese and western literary theories and provide experience and planning for the construction of contemporary Chinese text strategies.
