Chinese martial arts films are the most unique film genre in China.The martial arts scenes of chivalry and all corners of the country have always been loved and respected by Chinese audiences.It is a special type representative of Chinese films entering the world’s film industry.Color,with unique image charm,is an important part of film language.Martial arts film color mold,with the development of the film language,are increasingly richer.Writers focus on the film color itself,at the same time,they began to pay attention to the mining and construction of the color relations.Intertextuality item can become an important perspective to dig the color more charm.The martial arts movie color aesthetic connotation can be realized and digged out further through the intertextuality reading of martial arts film color.From the new century on,the discussion on the color aesthetics of Chinese martial arts films has never stopped.The special color expression of Chinese martial arts films is determined by its unique image form.This paper,using the method of the theory of intertextuality,expands the research of the martial arts film color aesthetics,and emphatically analyzes the movie text color of intertextuality.And analyses the art characteristics such as consciousness of color,color narration,color structure and color image in Chinese martial arts films from the perspective of intertextuality.On the basis of evaluating and analyzing the color of Chinese martial arts films,and based on the relevant color theories,it expounds the artistic characteristics of different styles of Chinese martial arts films from 2000 to 2018.By basically combing the colors of Chinese martial arts films since the new century,the colors of martial arts films in different styles are summarized and can be roughly divided into four styles:Splash-ink color stage(single color freehand),painting sculpture color stage(color refinement),refining color stage(the director stylized the colors)and vivid color stage(the colors melt together).At the same time,it discusses the intertextuality of Chinese color(five-color view),folk color,mural color,traditional Chinese painting color and Chinese martial arts film color.From the perspective of color modeling,this paper analyzes the mutual referencebetween clothing color and Chinese color(five-color view)and the implicit connection between prop color and folk color.From the perspective of color space,the paper analyzes the use of scene color for reference and imitation of mural color,and the reproduction and extension of space color for Chinese painting color.Then,at the basis of the intertextuality of the color structure of Chinese martial arts films,by analyzing the color attribute structure and tone structure of Chinese martial arts films,it summarizes the change rules of hue,brightness,purity and tone in different martial arts films or the same martial arts films,and further discusses the possibility of color intertextuality.Finally,it emphatically explains the intertextuality of color images in Chinese martial arts films.By summarizing the color combination of the chivalrous figures in many films,the recurring color motifs in different scenes,the color tone corresponding to the paragraph narration,and the color mind with similar frequency and repetition mapping,this paper refines the reflection on the expression of Chinese martial arts films’ chivalrous images.This paper tries to take color as a breakthrough point in the creation of martial arts films,and makes a theoretical analysis of the color creation of Chinese martial arts films for the new century,so as to explore more possibilities of color intertextuality in the creation of martial arts films.By studying the intertextuality of Chinese martial arts films color,this paper explores the new creation and application mode of martial arts films,which has important enlightenment significance for the form creation of martial arts films.
