| The story of Tang priest's pilgrimage to the west is well known in China,especially the story of Journey to the West with eighty-one difficulties,which is derived from Shidetang version,LiZhuowu Commentary version and YangMinzhai version.Many novels,plays and even popular audio and video works have been produced from this story system.In the related academic field,it is inevitable to discuss the process of the writing of Journey to the West,to study and explore its version and literature,and even to dispute the identity of its author for a long time.In recent years,the investigation and discovery of the cross-text research of the stories of Westward Journey stories and related achievements have been continuously launched.The academic community has no longer limited the research perspective of Journey to the West to the hundred editions of Journey to the West and its homologous texts.As for the research and consideration of the hot issues in the field of Journey to the West stories,they are often checked and compared with the contents in other literary texts.As a result,the research field of related issues becomes broader,the research method becomes more scientific,and the results and conclusions are closer to the real solution.As a typical book accumulated by generations,Journey to the West and the whole story system formed by the stories of the journey to the west,which are similar or not in content and different in style,mostly show signs of change at present.Since Xuanzang's westward journey was written in the Tang Dynasty,the whole story has been influenced by the society,religion and the masses' aesthetic appreciation and acceptance of literature in different periods under the constant influence of external forces.It has been polished and refined by the writers of the whole story system before it came into its present situation.Except the initial story of journey for scriptures and indispensable master Xuanzang,the set of other characters and story plots reflect the different trajectories,and it presents a more overall characteristic about god alienation and combines with folk beliefs and the same type works,and many different versions of different qualities are spawned and intermingled by mainstream story sequel.In the process of the formation of the story community of Journey to the West,it is not difficult for researchers to see that the folk readers and writers interlinked the legends from different periods and sources,and it is not difficult to find that the different sections of the stories of Journey to the West still have their relative independence.In view of this,the excavation and study of the rising and falling plots that are ubiquitous in the stories of journey to the west and the characters which are more unique than other works is actually making contributions to sort out the pedigree of its reproduction for some plots,so as to clearly prove its context and know its origin.The plot of relegation and ascension of immortals,as a common part of the novels of ghosts,demons and realistic novels,can not be avoided in the study and interpretation of the stories of journey to the west.The repetition of a certain plot or a certain setting in a large number of stories in the same story system,without boring readers,is worthy of attention for itself.Regarding the plot of relegation andascension of immortals in journey to the west as the research object,through the core of the story system of journey to the west--"eighty-one difficulties",Journey to the West system,interconnected other journey to the west story text and related content,making every effort to establish a relatively flat,clear logical structure,and studying the characteristics of plot of relegation and ascension of immortals of journey to the west and the pattern.In this paper,the theme of the study Plot patterns of Immortal and Fairy descending plot and the scope of the subject's materials for the Westward Journey stories are divided into four parts.The introduction part is mainly about the content and listed the relevant achievements of the predecessors.The first chapter is to discuss the narrative mode of the Plot patterns of Immortal and Fairy descending plot in combination with the relevant materials in the text examples.The second chapter is about the content of the Plot patterns of Immortal and Fairy descending plot.The third chapter focuses on the analysis and summary of the high-frequency application of the Plot patterns of Immortal and Fairy descending plot in the stories of the Westward Journey. |
