The concept of world has always been one of the important basic concepts regarding philosophy.Looking back at the history of philosophy, this self-explanatory concept has been used frequently.Only a few philosophers have reflected on it,but the misunderstanding of this concept has caused some wrong conclusions in philosophical research.Among the philosophers who reflect on the concept of world,Heidegger's answer is undoubtedly compelling, and his exploration regarding the concept of world runs through his philosophical path. There are three ways to explore the concept of world in Heidegger's early thought: historical approach, comparative approach, and daily approach in Being and Time.Based on these three ways, this paper analyses Heidegger's early concept of world, and summarizes that world is a whole open from Dasein, whose primary connotations include the environment of Dasein,a world without Dasein and the transcendence of Dasein. In addition, this paper analyzes the temporal foundation and the significance of the concept of world in Heidegger's early thought. He clarified the concept of world from the standpoint of existentialism.Through the relationship between Dasein and world in his early thought, the new implication of this old philosophical concept was more clearly demonstrated.
