On The Significance Of "The Struggle Between Native And Foreign" To The Development Of Chinese Vocal Music

After the May Fourth Movement in 1919,Western vocal singing was introduced to China.The influx of bel canto is like a new trend of thought,which gives people a new understanding of the sound and changes people's understanding and aesthetics of the voice.As a result,the collision and blending between the national singing method and the beautiful singing method in the history of the development of Chinese vocal music has also arisen,that is,the "the struggle between native and foreign." Chinese vocal music educators and singers have devoted a lot of effort and sweat to the issue of“native and foreign",and they have also condensed rich research results.The research in this paper covers the following three aspects:1.Reviewing and sorting out the "Controversy of the Earth and Ocean”and analyzing the differences between Chinese and Western vocal singing methods.2.Analyze the enlightenment brought by Chinese vocal educators and singers.3.Analyze the enlightenment brought by the " Turkish Controversy" to the Chinese vocal singing method.Through the above research to understand the history and connotation of "the dispute between the earth and the ocean",the significance of "the dispute between the earth and the ocean" on the development of Chinese vocal music,and the theoretical reference and practical guidance for the development of Chinese vocal music.
