The ratio of theta(4-7Hz)band power to beta(15-25Hz)band power(theta/beta,or TBR)may reflect the interaction of cortical and subcortical activities,and it reflects the cognitive control driven by supracortical activity that regulates the proximity motivation and reward seeking of subcortical activity.In the study of TBR,some researchers have found that TBR is related to individual risk decision-making,but because of the differences in the task of measuring risk decision-making itself,and there are various complex factors in most tasks besides risk decision-making.The Iowa gambling task used in the research on TBR and risk decision-making is considered to have the factor of reversal learning.Therefore,some researchers believe that the correlation between TBR and task performance found in the task is actually caused by reversal learning ability rather than by risk decision-making tendency.That is to say,the reversal learning ability is actually related to TBR,which has been verified by their research.However,the experimental tasks used in this study still do not exclude the impact of risk decision-making.Meanwhile,the positive correlation between TBR and risk decision-making was also found in the study using Gambling tasks(Include only risk decision-making factors,not reversal learning factors.).Therefore,we need to further distinguish the factors of risk decision-making and reversal learning to explore the relationship between TBR and risk decision-making and reversal learning.Therefore,the purpose of study 1 is to verify the correlation between theta/beta TBR and Iowa gambling task and gambling task.In this experiment,EEG(Electroencephalograph)technology was used and through the Iowa gambling task and gambling task to test,we found a significant positive correlation between a significant positive correlation and the difference between disadvantage option and advantage option in Iowa gambling tasks.It was also found that there was a significant positive correlation between TBR and the proportion of risky decision in Gambling task.he first study validates the results of previous studies,indicating that TBR is related to risk decision-making tendency,and that TBR may also be related to reverse learning ability because of the factors of reverse learning in Iowa gambling tasks.The purpose of study 2 is to further explore whether TBR reflects risk decision-making or reversal learning,or both.Therefore,we use simple gambling tasks that only contain risk decision factors,reversal gambling tasks that include both reversal learning factors and risk decision factors,and reversal learning tasks that only contain reversal learning factors to distinguish risk decision-making and reversal learning,and further explore the relationship between TBR and risk decision-making and reversal learning.The results showed that there was a significant positive correlation between TBR and the proportion of risky decision in simple gambling tasks,and a significant negative correlation between TBR and the learning rate of the second and third phases in reversal gambling tasks,but there was no significant correlation between TBR and the learning rate of the first and second phases,and there was no significant correlation between TBR and reversal learning tasks.Generally speaking,TBR can reflect the individual's risk decision-making tendency,rather than reverse learning ability.
