The documentary World is a successful model in China’s medical documentaries.It has caused a great sensation in two seasons since its broadcast.In the first and second seasons of The World,real scenes are selected to shoot.With real shooting and objective narration,the current working conditions of medical workers are truly captured,and the high-intensity state and the overloaded working and living conditions brought about by the working pressure of medical staff are displayed all the time.This documentary is different from the previous medical documentaries,and its important success depends on the commentary.Commentary is an important part of the sound and painting system.A documentary which is well received by the audience and accepted by the world and can cause significant social repercussions is always inseparable from the clever cooperation of the commentary.The commentary not only needs to supplement the picture,but also has an important function of expressing emotion and improving the artistic creation of TV documentaries.The function and value of documentary "The World of Man" is not only to answer all kinds of questions people are facing,but also to express their emotions.What they are concerned about is the true feelings of human nature covered by the works.Functions are different,but equally important.Medicine is not only science,but also anthropology.Taking the medical documentary "The World" as an example,this paper makes a superficial study of the explanatory words of "The World".The article is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is an introduction.The introduction mainly includes the origin of the study,research methods,and the purpose and significance of documentary commentaries.The second chapter is mainly from three aspects: the concept of commentaries,the classification of commentaries and the status of commentaries in the development of documentaries.The third chapter is mainly from four aspects: phonetic rhetoric,lexical rhetoric,sentence rhetoric and rhetoric.Chapter IV mainly introduces the best time for the emergence of commentaries,and briefly introduces three situations.The fifth chapter makes a comparative study of the commentaries in the two seasons of The World.Chapter Six makes a superficial inquiry into the value of The World.As far as the existing papers are concerned,there is not much research on the commentaries of The World.Through the research on the commentaries of The World,the author has explored and summarized,trying to construct a basic direction in order to provide some reference for the future practice of medical documentary commentaries.
