Studies Of Feng Xuefeng's Fable(1946-1975)

Feng Xuefengis a writer in the history of Chinese literature in the 20th century,who mainly creates fables and achieves important achievements.His fables not only inherit the tradition of ancient Chinese fables,but also draw lessons from the western fables to form his own unique and distinct style of writing.With the publication of The Complete Works of Feng Xuefeng by People's Literature Publishing House in 2016,the 58 fables written by feng xuefeng after 1949 were published for the first time publicly.It provides new data for us not only in studying Feng Xuefeng's fable after 1949,but also in studying Feng Xuefeng and the change of his writing style.This paper adopts literature research,close reading,induction and comparative research to discuss the development,theme and aesthetic characteristics of Feng Xuefeng's fable.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,the body part is divided into three chapters for discussion.In the first and second chapters,Feng Xuefeng's fable is divided into two parts with the year of 1949 as the boundary line,and the writing background,specific content,main characteristics in each stage are discussed respectively.The first chapter discusses the historical background and main contents of Feng Xuefeng's fable in the late 1940s,which mainly includs the secular significance of One Hundred Fables Sutra,and the critical consciousness of other two fables.The second chapter analyzes the background of Feng Xuefeng's fable after 1949,which mainly focuses on the content and features of the newly published 58 fables and the multiple allegorical meanings of the Golden Pheasant and Sparrow.On this basis,the author will talk about the change of mentality and writing style of Feng Xuefeng's fable.The third chapter is divided into three parts.The first part discusses the change of mentality and writing style in his later period in depth.The second part analyzes the gains and losses of Feng Xuefeng's fable from cognitive value and educational value.The third part discusses the influence of Feng Xuefeng and his works on the creation of contemporary Chinese allegorical.Through discussion and analysis,we will comb and understand Feng Xuefeng's fables in depth.
