Research On So Kyong-dok's Theory Of Pneuma

So Kyong-dok is a representative figure of Korean Confucianism and plays an important role in the history of Korean Confucianism.On the basis of absorbing and learning from the Neo-Confucianism,he constructed the pneuma theory with Tai-xu as the metaphysical noumenon.It marks a new stage of self-development and self-improvement of Korean philosophy,and has a profound influence on the development of Korean Confucianism.This article takes "Pneuma" as the center,has carried on the profound analysis to So Kyong-dok's theory of pneuma.The first is to sort out the meaning of the core concept of"Pneuma" in So Kyong-dok philosophy,examine the source of So Kyong-dok's theory of pneuma,and clarify the internal logic of his Pneuma Theory.Then it discusses the specific content of So Kyong-dok's theory of pneuma from the two aspects of metaphysics and physics,and deeply studies the metaphysical premise of pneuma,relationship between pneuma and principle,gasification theory,theory of human nature.The questions of pneuma and Tai-xu,pneuma and principle,pneuma and everything,pneuma and humanity,humanity and emotion are answered in detail.It is believed that Tai-xu is the original constitutional domain of all things,and human nature is also rooted in Tai-xu,and pneuma and principle interact as both body and function.Then,from the comparative perspective of European and East Asian philosophy,the characteristics of So Kyong-dok's Pneuma Theory are discussed.The characteristics of his Pneuma Theory are mainly embodied in three aspects:the thinking mode of "body and function",the system structure with Tai-xu as the core,and the concept of heaven and man with Pneuma as the knot.The last part is the evaluation of So Kyong-dok's Pneuma Theory.The value of So Kyong-dok's thoughts and the blame of Korean thinkers on his thoughts are studied in detail.Different thinkers and different schools can be inspired by the So Kyong-dok philosophy.So Kyong-dok philosophy is the bridge and pass to the Korean Confucianism.There is no way to avoid it,and this is the spirit of So Kyong-dok philosophy.
