A Study On Traffic Geography In Yue Fei’s Punitive Expedition

Yue Fei was a famous general in the early Southern Song Dynasty and a great national hero in the history of the Chinese nation.Yue Fei has gone through countless expedition activities in his life,These activities had a great impact on the politics,military affairs,including transportation geography throughout the early Southern Song Dynasty.In Yue Fei’s main and large-scale expedition activities,it not only influenced and restricted the military situation in the early stage of the Southern Song Dynasty,but also had very obvious characteristics of the traffic geography.Yue Fei’s main expedition activities reflect the traffic route,mode of transportation and so on.It restored the picture of fighting with Jin in the early Southern Song Dynasty,and showed the military thought and style of an excellent military general,as well as Restored the transportation geography at that time.The first chapter mainly describes the origin of the topic,the research about Yue Fei,the innovations of this paper,and my research methods.The second chapter summarizes the main military expedition activities in Yue Fei’s life with two parts.The first part briefly describes the military situation in the early Southern Song Dynasty according to some standards.The change of the military situation between the Song and the Jin and the problem of the stability inside the Southern Song Dynasty.The second part introduces Yue Fei’s main military expedition activities.The third chapter mainly discusses the military situation in the early Southern Song Dynasty and the basis of Yue Fei’s main expedition activities,and analyzes the traffic routes and traffic modes in Yue Fei’s main expedition activities within this scope.Thus we also have some understanding with the traffic geography at that time.The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the characteristics of traffic geography in Yue Fei’s Expedition and the relationship between his activities and traffic geography.It can be found that the routes and modes of traffic in his expedition are deeply influenced by the natural environment,and at the same time,it has the military color of Yue Fei.Yue Fei’s main expedition activities and traffic geography in the activities are mutual influence and complement each other.The fifth chapter is the conclusion part,which mainly sums up the content of this paper,and reflects the characteristics of the military situation and the traffic geography in the early Southern Song Dynasty,mutual relations and other innovation when I study the traffic geography of Yue Fei’s Expedition.
