The Error Analysis On The Words "Benlai" And "Yuanlai" By Indonesian Students In China

For Indonesian students who studying in China,the study of Chinese synonyms is one of the most difficult points.One of them is the usage of "benlai" and "yuanlai".Indonesian students often confuse these two words because they are similar but different.It is both an adverb and an adjective.It is also virtual and practical,making it difficult for students to distinguish and difficult to use correctly.In view of this,this paper firstly sorts out the similarities and differences between "benlai" and "yuanlai" from the three aspects of semantics,grammar and pragmatics.From this basis,according to the acquisition characteristics of Indonesian students in learning Chinese,the questionnaire is designed for Indonesian students in Huazhong Normal University,specifically to examine the students when using "benlai" and "yuanlai",statistical analysis of the errors and types of errors,from the data results then analyze the causes of the errors,and at the last to give the teachers teaching suggestions,also give the students learning Chinese suggestions.The full paper is divided into six chapters:Introduction:The introduction mainly discusses the purpose and value of the topic,explains the research content,theoretical basis and research reference method of this paper.In the review of the relevant research results,we have combed out the classification and explanation of the synonyms "benlai" and "yuanlai" in ontology research,This paper examines the content arrangement of the synonyms "benlai" and"yuanlai" in the teaching syllabus,related textbooks and journal papers of Chinese as a foreign language.The first chapter is about ontology research of the synonymy "benlai" and "yuanlai",from the three aspects of semantics,grammar and pragmatics,the paper analyzes the similarities and differences between the "benlai" and "yuanlai".The second chapter is a test on the use of "benlai" and "yuanlai" by Indonesian students in China,also describe about the test design and test results,the statistics include the correct use and the wrong use,and describe the types of errors.The third chapter based on the results of the statistical survey,we find the reasons for the errors caused by the wrong use of the synonyms "benlai" and "yuanlai" by Indonesian students in China.There are four reasons caused the errors;mother tongue transfer,target language knowledge transfer,culture factor transfer,and teacher,textbook influence.The fourth chapter is giving teaching suggestions to teachers and learning suggestions to the students.This chapter gives some suggestions on how to acquire the synonym "benlai" and "yuanlai",by the first and second chapters for the foreign students whose mother tongue is Indonesian language,including improving the teaching material,improving the teaching content and methods,advice for student’s learning methods.The last chapter is conclusion.
