In the first half of the 20th century,China was in the period of the most drastic social change. The feudal empire, which had shrouded China for more than two thousand years, collapsed and replaced it with the Republic of China, whose social contradictions were more prominent. The invasion of foreign capitalist forces has injected the blood of industry into the ancient agricultural country, but also exploited the blood of the laborers in distress.Looking at the historical development process in the first half of the 20th century, the word "strike" frequently appeared in major newspapers. The extensive working class has waged unremitting struggles against the unreasonable treatment system of the management in the only way of struggle.Canton-Hong Kong strikes, which began in June 1925 and ended in October 1926,it is an extremely important anti-imperialist patriotic movement in the history of strikes in China and even in the world. There are a lot of research results about this strikes, but the academic circles have ignored the relevant research on the newspapers sponsored by the Chinese Communist Party during this period. In fact, the importance of the "Worker's Road" as the mouthpiece of the early public opinion of the Chinese Communist Party is no less than that of the Canton-Hong Kong strikes itself.Through the newspaper"Worker's Road",we can see a panoramic view of the vicissitudes of the Canton-Hong Kong strikes, then to analyse its propaganda and mobilization of strike public opinion, which provides an excellent perspective for the writer to demonstrate the effectiveness of the early revolutionary public opinion propaganda of the Chinese Communist Party. This paper begins with the historical background before the outbreak of the Canton-Hong Kong strikes, and then analyses the reasons for the birth of The "Worker's Road",introducing its basic situation and comparing it with other contemporary newspapers and periodicals, analysing the audience groups and the influence of public opinion in The "Worker's Road".Secondly,it combs the follow-up reports of "Worker's Road" before and after the outbreak of the provincial and port strike movement, highlighting its rapidity of follow-up information and humanistic care for the striking workers. Then it explores the propaganda mode and policy support of "Worker's Road":Including teaching strikers how to fight effectively;Advocating the Industrial and Commercial Union and the National Revolution;Exposing the conspiracy of the Hong Kong authorities, and analyze its effectiveness. The last part focuses on the overall review of the newspaper and the movement, attempt to summarize people's views on the Canton-Hong Kong strikes, and put forward the view that "Worker's Road" is seriously deficient in the depth of thought,in order to seek advice from predecessors.
