| Tan Yankai and Wang Jingwei were two important figures in the early period of the National Government.They have contributed to the development of the national revolution.At the same time,their relationship also affected the development of the national government.The relationship between Tan Yankai and Wang Jingwei can be roughly divided into three periods.The first stage is the firm revolutionary friendship.Tan Yankai followed Sun Yat-sen and devoted himself to the revolutionary cause.In the early stage of Kuomintang-Communist cooperation,the two opposed the Kuomintang Rightists and jointly promoted the first Kuomintang-Communist cooperation.Sun Yat-sen passed away.They abided by the Premier's will,actively safeguarded the cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party,and made a certain contribution to the establishment of the Guangzhou National Government.Stage 2: They depend on each other in official circles.After Chiang Kaishek launched the Zhongshan Ship Incident.Tan Yankai tried to reconcile Wang and Chiang.Tan Yankai not only protected Wang Jingwei,but also made great efforts for the stability of the Kuomintang.The third stage: they influenced each other and betrayed the revolution.With the publicity of Chiang Kaishek's anti-Communist actions,the Zhengzhou Conference and Xuzhou Conference were held one after another.The attitudes of Wang and Tan changed from "opposing Chiang Kai-shek and uniting the Communist Party" to "uniting Chiang Kai-shek and opposing the Communist Party".The change in the position of the two men who had actively supported the cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party hinted at the development trend of the Kuomintang government.This paper will discuss the evolution of the relationship between Wang and Tan from different periods of the National Government.The author combines Wang and Tan's personality differences and their respective experiences to further analyze the reasons for their betray revolution. |
