Study On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Two College Entrance Examinations In A Year In English Subject

College entrance examination of English is an important link in college entrance examination reform.It is an urgent need of the country and people to change the current situation of “time-consuming and inefficient”,“dumb English”.Meanwhile,college entrance examination of English is also an hard and crucial battle in college entrance examination reform.College entrance examination of English is tested twice a year,which brings out in the context of the policies of country and provinces.In 2014,It is clearly stated in the document that we should reform examination subjects.....set Chinese?math?English as the subjects of college entrance examination,keeping the same subjects and scores,and English is tested twice a year.This document emphasize that English is tested twice a year and that Shanghai and Zhejiang are taken as pilot city and province.In2020,we will establish Chinese modern education admission system.Jiangxi mentions in the plan that Jiangxi sets Chinese?Math?English as subject and full marks is 150.Besides,Jiangxi province mentions that it will deepen foreign examination reform,guiding English teaching focus on the cultivation application ability.The foreign examination includes written test and listening test.Jiangxi will carry out that two English examinations are tested in a year,and the time of examination is arranged in June and another mouth,For students,they can take part in two exams at most,and the best score counts towards total scores.This paper is based on documents issued by Jiangxi province.The paper mainly analyzes that the reform of English college entrance examination in Jiangxi province may bring some beneficial effects and hide some deep problems.This paper will come up with corresponding solutions and a long-term plan.This paper is divided into six parts: the first part is introduction,including research background?significance?purpose?the definiton of related concepts?literature reviews about the reform of English college entrance examination-“Two examinations in a year”.The second part is a brief review of the English college entrance examination reform background.The third part is the investigation ofEnglish college entrance examination reform-“Two examinations in a year” in Jiangxi province.I distribute many qustionnairs and interview some relevant people.I can undestand the attitude and understanding of the students?teachers?administrations about the English reform--“Two examinations in a year”by these questionaires and interviews.The fourth part,I analyze that it may bring some beneficial effects and advantages if Jiangxi carries out the English college entrance examination reform--“Two examinations in a year” in the future.In the fifth part,I analyze further some possible problems if Jiangxi carries out“Two examinations in a year”English reform in the future.In the sixth part,I put forward some corresponding suggestions about English college entrance examination reform--“Two examinations in a year”in Jiangxi province.This paper tries to research and analyze English college entrance examination reform--“Two examinations in a year”in Jiangxi province,discussing some possible problems in future English reform in Jiangxi province.At the same time,I come up some useful suggestions so that these suggestions can be good for the English college entrance examination reform“two examinations in a year”in Jiangxi province.
