Medical drama is a kind of professional drama,which reflects the work and life of modern medical staff as its main content.Medical dramas provide us with real medical industry information and recent medical concepts and show us the emotional state of life of medical industry workers.This study focuses on the differences between the Chinese medical drama and the American medical drama narrative in the selection of the theme,the structure of the plot structure,the shaping of the characters,the formation of rhythm and style.In the final analysis,this is inseparable from the unique broadcasting mode of the film and television industry in the two countries,the completely different cultural environment and medical system of the two countries'society,and the different social mainstream values that the two countries have long formed.The task of this paper is to clarify the similarities and differences between the two,and explain that the two are the same and different in all aspects.When studying the characteristics of Chinese and American medical dramas,it also explores the deep linger behind the formation of Chinese and American medical dramas.This study mainly uses case analysis method,comparative analysis method and text analysis method.It mainly selects the most popular domestic medical dramas in recent vears.Comparing the style of Chinese and American medical dramas in narrative,the perspective of cultural studies and intertextuality and dialogue theory pay attention to the interaction between the real society and the text.The narratives of Chinese and American medical dramas rely on their respective social backgrounds to have their own style characteristics,and they also contain differrent values.As a kind of industrial drama,medical drama is always based on authenticity and professionalism.It does not lower the requirements and can play a role.
