The term ‘manuscript family' refers to the clustering of nouns in documents,archives and other fields of literature containing the word ‘manuscript'.They are an important part of document nouns.According to the records in the Chinese classics database,the word "manuscript" appeared in the Spring and Autumn Period at the earliest,but as a literature noun appeared in the Han Dynasty,and later with the advance of history,various ‘manuscript family' nouns appeared(or disappeared)in succession in various periods.A thorough study of the term ‘manuscript clan' is of great significance to the study of the development history of Chinese document nouns,the history of Chinese archives and the history of Chinese books in the future,and is also conducive to the understanding of archival science from the linguistic point of view.This paper mainly uses statistical analysis method to study the ‘manuscript clan'nouns,including ‘draft',‘manuscript',‘manuscript',‘manuscript',‘finalized',‘manuscript',‘manuscript',‘imperial edict',‘imperial edict' and ‘imperial edict' in a total of 149 document nouns,the use of the ‘manuscript clan' nouns throughout the ancient and modern times,strong continuity,according to this.First,it divides the history of the development of the nouns in the manuscript clan into three stages: ancient,modern and modern,and studies the nouns appearing in each stage separately,mainly from the three aspects of composition,connotation and use,and analyzes the ‘manuscript clan' in each period according to the occurrence and frequency of each noun.The use and application of document nouns.Specifically,the ancient ‘manuscript clan' documents include about 59 disyllabic words such as ‘memorial' and ‘imperial edict';the modern ‘manuscript clan' documents have 82 disyllabic words such as ‘official letter manuscript' and ‘circular edict',the number of which has increased compared with the ancient times.In the late Qing Dynasty(1840-1912),there were about 63,and in the Republic of China(1912-1949),there were about 60.There were 81 nouns in the modern ‘manuscript family' documents,such as ‘lecture notes' and ‘sample manuscripts'.Nouns became more concise,standardized and the meaning of the words was more clearly expressed.By consulting the literature,we know that the nouns of the whole ‘manuscript family' document are mostly biased structure,and the word ‘manuscript' is mostly later,so the nouns ofdifferent ‘manuscript family' have specific specificity or specificity in content.By summarizing the time category,connotation evolution and application fields of these‘manuscript family' document nouns,this paper summarizes the characteristics and evolution rules of the whole ‘manuscript family' document nouns in the process of development,thus showing the particularity of the ‘manuscript family' document nouns in all categories of document nouns.
