Study On Contemporary Decorative Landscape Paintings

Decorative meaning has always been an important element in landscape painting.For its part,it is not the objective representation of nature by Western realist painters,but the artist's artistic expression of nature's subjective feelings.This paper intends to comb the contemporary decorative meaning landscape painting from four aspects,and uses the interdisciplinary method,the literature review method and the qualitative analysis method to comb and explore the contemporary decorative landscape painting from different angles.In the second part of the article,the historical lineage of the decorative landscape painting is mainly expounded.The third part analyzes the composition principle from the image,composition and color.In the fourth part,the richness of expressing emotions was compared between the ancient and modern artists in the decorative landscape painting,and individual contemporary painters and works were analyzed.The other two parts respectively introduce the enlightenment for author's personal creation and limitations of the decorative landscape paintings.This paper intends to summarize the contemporary decorative meaning of the development and composition of landscape painting,while bringing a new perspective to the group that pays attention to decorative landscape painting to better understand and appreciate it.
