In recent years, the economic miracle created by India has attracted worldwide attention. At the same time, its prominent poverty problem has also become the focus of attention of all countries.Indian society is therefore complicated and weird,on the one hand, the prosperity brought about by the rapid economic development, and on the other side, the hunger caused by poverty.Poverty in India is mainly concentrated in rural areas, and urban slums are also lacking in poverty.Although economic development is a powerful tool and means to combat poverty, the formation of poverty in India is also affected by other factors, such as incomplete land reform, caste discrimination, religious beiefs, defects in distribution systems, and imbalances in economic development.Despite many unfavorable factors affecting India’s poverty alleviation efficiency, the government,non-governmental organizations and the international conmunity have joined hands to make great efforts in anti-poverty work and achieved certain results. However, there are some problems behind the effectiveness of poverty reduction in India, and many poverty reduction goals have not been achieved.India’s poverty reduction performance at the current stage is not high, but its experience and lessons in the process of poverty reduction not only contribute to its future poverty reduction work, but also worthy of the summary and reflection of developing countries.Developing countries combine India’s anti-poverty experience and lessons with their own anti-poverty.The experience draws on learning and the lessons are learned from the past, thus avoiding some detours. In the process of anti-poverty,we must take the government as the leading factor and the anti-poverty strategy should be in line with the actual s.ituation of the country. At the same time,we will unite the strength of all parties in the international and domestic sectors, ensure the source of funds for anti-poverty,and continuously increase anti-poverty efforts At the same time of economic growth, more rational adjustments are made in the initial distribution and redistribution,so that the results of the national economy are more inclined to the general income families and poor families. In addition,it is necessary to improve the government’s governance efficiency, resolutely crack down on corruption, and make the government’s poverty alleviation plan effective. In this way,India’s anti-poverty work will achieve good results and clear up some obstacles to its sustainable economic development, thus helping to implement its great country strategy.
