The Study On The Functional Phenomenon Of Nouns Displaying Verbs In Modern Chinese

Part of speech has always been a focus of discussion in the grammar field.As two parts of speech,the typical functions of nouns and verbs are not clear.In the relationship between nouns and verbs discussed by previous scholars,the boundary between the functions of nouns and verbs is not clear,which leads to the endless debate on the relationship between nouns and verbs.This article summarized predecessors'awareness of dynamic relations of the three:move division,a continuum,contains,analyzes three kinds of relationship,eventually move continuum and contains the name of the shen's theory basis,to explore the phenomenon of nouns appear verbs function,on the basis of comparison,nouns and verbs are not completely opposite two parts of speech,have overlapping functions,such as"can decide the object" "can do attributive"and so on,therefore this article focused on the verbs' functional features that nouns don't have,when the noun has the feature of verb's characteristic,the noun is appeared this function.With previous research,this article based on the background of the age of one hundred years after the May 4th movement,in term of the most representative tool nouns for typical,statistics of modern and contemporary appeared two times function of verb,its ability to use the verb in the sentence to do a detailed statistical data,finally compare the change of modern and contemporary,analysis the generational differences.The main body of this paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which summarizes the achievements of predecessors and the research ideas of this paper.This paper lists nine criteria for determining the noun appearing the verb function.In the third chapter,through the analysis of the collected corpus,it is concluded that the function of instrumental nouns in displaying verbs is different to some extent,the proportion difference of the specific functions of each noun is analyzed,and the difference of the functions of each word is analyzed and the corpus is illustrated.In the fourth chapter,through analyzing the added functions of each target word in the process from modern to contemporary,the author analyzes which functions most target words have in modern times.Through comparison,it is found that the most typical functions almost have in modern times.Presumably,people who accept the proximity of a noun to a verb may be the first to accept the typical grammatical features it shows.Chapter five analyzes the phenomenon and result of chapter three and chapter four from different angles.
