In recent years, the Senegalese government has gradually begun to pay attention to the issue of early childhood education. To this end,the government has proposed six goals of “Education for All people” to promote the protection of children's interests and encourage children's all-round development.Under the government's advocacy, governments at all levels and many social organizations carry out universal early childhood education(mainly in the form of kindergartens).Thousands of young children have the opportunity to enter kindergartens and receive formal preschool education. However, the adaptability of children to kindergarten life has become the primary problem in preschool education. The relevant educational institutions have also lagged behind the problem of poor adaptation to kindergartens, lacking pertinence and science. Therefore,it is especially necessary to carry out research on the problem of poor adaptation of Senegal's kindergarten children's life through the theory and methods of psychology. This study explores the main causes of maladaptive adaptation of children's kindergartens in Senegal through case analysis and observation. The survey selected one child with “separation anxiety”,one child “independence”,and one child with “aggressive behavior” as the research object. The personal data of three children(including personal information, personality traits, parental information, family structure, parenting style)were extensively collected. The natural observation method was used to record the child's adaptive behavior throughout the day,the teacher's intervention measures and their effects.By in-depth analysis of the collected data found that the main reasons for the maladaptiveness of children's kindergartens in Senegal came from family factors and teachers. The family is derived from the establishment of the relationship between children and parents. The teacher's factors refer to the professionalism of the teacher and the scientific nature of intervention and guidance.Reasonable family education methods and teacher professional guidance and intervention are the main ways to effectively solve the maladaptiveness of 3-5 years old children's kindergartens.Educational institutions could provide training for kindergarten teachers and parents to provide relevant professional courses to solve this problem.
