| Theory of mind refers to the individual’s cognition and understanding of the psychological state of themselves and others.In previous studies,it has been proved that about 4 years old is the period when young children’s abilities are initially formed and developed,especially the psychological theory of young children.This stage is a golden period for their development.Therefore,teachers and parents should pay special attention to young children in this period.The development of the theory of mind.The development of children’s psychological theory can help children to better empathy,from the perspective of others to consider and solve problems,but also to eliminate child self-centered,and promote its social development.The purpose of this study is to intervene in the psychological theory level of middle-school children through the teaching method of picture books,and on this basis,it is discussed whether the picture-book teaching can effectively help the middle-school children to improve the level of the psychological theory,so as to enrich the supplementary research related to the child’s psychological theory.The theoretical basis,and the results obtained in practice will have a practical guiding significance for the teaching activities of grass-roots preschool educators,and provide a certain basis for the improvement of the relationship between teachers and children in the future.The study subjects selected 52 children in two middle classes in a kindergarten in Tianjin.Through experimental research,the study used accidental location tasks,accidental content tasks,and appearance facts to distinguish tasks and to measure the level of mental theories of the selected middle class children.Then,through the teaching method of picture books,the intervention training for 26 middle school children in experimental group was conducted.The intervention program in this study is based on a picture book rich in mental theory content as the basic teaching content.It is based on the main factors affecting the development of the child’s theory of mind.It is based on a picture book,story retelling,thought bubble,role play,and group discussion.In the context of young interaction,all intervention training is planned and step by step.Finally,through the classic research paradigm of "False Belief Tasks",the psychological theory level of the children in the middle class after the intervention is tested,and data analysis is used to prove whether the intervention is effective.The results show that:1.Before the picture-book teaching intervention,the difference of the psycholocgical theory level between the experimental group and the control group is not significant.2.After the picture-book teaching intervcention,the theoretical levels of the children in the experimental group and the control group were significantly different.3.After the picture book teaching intervention,the control group had no significant differences in the theoretical levels of the pre-and post-test psychology.4.After the picture book teaching intervention,the experimental group had significant differences in the theoretical levels of the pre-and post-test psychology.According to the research results,the researcher suggests that:strengthen the theoretical basis,mining the value of the content of the psychological theory in the picture book;teachers and parents in life should guide children to constantly explore the psychological state of others,so as to promote the development of the level of the child’s psychological theory;based on the theory of psychology,through A variety of picture book teaching methods are used to enhance the quality of picture book reading or picture book presentation activities;picture book teaching activities that improve the level of children’s psychological theory should be organized frequently;children who care about children with love should be given love education for children. |
