Chinese painting from the emergence to the development,whether in the aesthetic pursuit or in the painting style aspects all reflect the people’s aesthetic idea at that time.As an important branch of figure painting,the painting of ladies was silent after Tang dynasty and reached another peak in the history of Qing dynasty.Qing dynasty was the last dynasty of feudal society.The rulers imposed harsh management in politics and culture,imprison people’s thoughts.Literati and literati have no way to report to the country,in time to anaesthetize themselves,extravagance prevailing,thus promoting the aesthetic consumption of lady painting.Most of the authors of ancient Chinese paintings of women were men,through out the Qing dynasty.The female painting in the painting is mostly a weak sick beauty,which embodies the male aesthetic standards and secular requirements,but also reflects a deeper aesthetic connotation.The "soft and weak" beauty in the paintings of women in Qing dynasty is not only the true portrayal of women at that time,but also the sustenance of the feelings of painters.In order to meet the needs of the society can not help creating a stylized one-sided styling style.In the portrayal of the female image,the painter from the dress,hairstyle,brow style,gesture and dynamic aspect to express.Qing dynasty female painters are good at making up the scene,to provide a fresh and elegant,resentful and lingering situation.By observing the woman in the painting of a lady,she is no longer an incompetent woman.On the contrary,from the setting and background of the picture,we can see the scroll breath,which is the expectation of women’s ideological emancipation.This paper attempts to analyze the "softness and beauty" of the female image in the painting from the aspects of subject matter,modeling,expression of the situation and the form of expression,and further reveals the deeper cultural connotation and aesthetic value.In the end of Qing dynasty,the author analyzed the inner emotion and the artistic conception of the artist’s creation through the life and works of the two representative female painters,who changed the Qi and Fei Danxu’s life and works.From the picture,we can see that although women are still male female art,but have their own independent ideas.In today’s society,with the development of the times,we should not only learn from and absorb the excellent painting style of the previous generation of female artists,but also abandon it.Some paintings,combined with the background of the times and the transformation of women’s roles,create works that accord with the image of women in the new era,and make greater contributions to the considerable development of the painting of ladies.
