The Influence Of Chinese Film And Television On Language Skills Learning Of Sudanese Chinese Learners

With the recent development of the relationship between China and Sudan,more and more Sudan students started to learn Chinese language.Due to this,Chinese movies and TV programs began to be quite popular.Watching Chinese movies and TV shows is not only an entertainment activity,it is also a good way to learn Chinese language,Chinese film and television can provide a real language environment for those who have no chance to learn Chinese in China.The purpose of this paper is to understand the impact of Chinese film and television on language skills and cultural identity of Sudanese Chinese learners through surveys and interviews.In order to get an effective result,with the help of the students of Chinese Department of Khartoum University,we conducted a survey,an interview and an analysis.After the analysis,we find that Chinese movies and television have a significant impact on the real improvement of Chinese language skills and cultural identity.It can not only improve listening,speaking and reading ability,but also enrich vocabulary.The first Chapter of this papers,shows the results of a survey report.A questionnaire of about 23 questions has been prepared,In order to understand the subject’s personal information,and then see what are the students thinking about Chinese movies and television in general.What kind of influence they have received through movies and media? Also,to understand the most influential movie and television in students’ opinions.The second Chapter of this paper,contains the report of interview results,the author prepared10 social media interviews,in order to better understand learners’ views and influence on Chinese films and television,at the same time to know what kind of problems students encounter.The third Chapter of this paper,reflects an analysis and shows that Chinese learners in Sudan are affected in every aspect,including listening,speaking,reading and vocabulary.In the last,we have got a discussion with Sudanese students about how to choose movies and TV at according to each student level in order to achieve better results.Also new methods and suggestions to acquire fast a new language have been prepared.
